Have just found the aganthomyia wankowiczii, (Yellow Flat Footed Fly) galling on ganoderma applanatum at Castle Eden Dene, Peterlee. Cylindrical galls with rounded ends protruding from the underside pored surface. NBN gives 19 records all south of Sheffield. Has anyone recorded them in the NE as yet?

I have found them on quite a few sites in North Yorkshire. Castle Howard, York Golf Club and I think the furthest north was Duncombe Park.
