The NEFSG is a dynamic assembly. New members continue to revitalise the group at all levels but because of the very large catchment area in which the NEFSG operates actual contact between members is limited. We have a “jolly” every year, a social event which attracts about 50% of the membership and traps them in one room for an hour or two per annum; we have an AGM which perversely is poorly attended and yet is held for the benefit of all; we organise workshops and, of course, forays…the latter being the most conducive to meet-ups even though we tend to find ourselves more mycologically engrossed on such occasions!
So…overall, you would believe, we all rub along nicely and like an off the peg suit, we fit where we touch…but how nice it would be to know a little more about you all. So here is your chance. Submit your pen-portrait to Laura or drop a few lines here…on your NEFSG web-site.
