I found a colony of what I think is Pterula multifida a few days ago growing on conifer needle debris from trees felled 5 years ago. I just matched it up with pictures found on the internet which look very convincing. I haven’t attempted any microscopy as yet as I have no key. The BMS has a southerly distribution. Any comments would be welcome.

The colony is now gone so I can’t do smell!. However I have a small specimen and if you are going to the Fishburn foray maybe you can bring the key.
